Meet Jenn Caputi
(Republican Candidate for Cranston, District 26)
Jenn lives in District 26, with her husband, Nick Mancini and their two children, Nicholas and Charlotte and their French Bulldog, Blueberry. She graduated from Roger Williams Law School, and she has been an attorney since 2004. She owns an established law firm, Caputi Law, LLC, located inside Garden City Center.
Over the years as a Cranston resident, she has developed strong personal and professional roots within the community. Raising her family here has connected her with amazing families and friends whose shared purpose is to keep a prosperous and safe community for themselves and their children.
Her law practice has provided her with wonderful opportunities to meet and represent countless people who have purchased property in our Ocean State, with many who call this District home.
Because of her successful law practice, she is happy to pay it forward. She donates a portion of every closing she does to The Tomorrow Fund, a local organization that supports children with cancer. She also makes monthly donations to Tunnel to Towers, an organization that supports veterans and families throughout the Country. Also, she contributes to local youth organizations by donating her time coaching and sponsoring teams.
Jenn is running for RI Senate because the State of Rhode Island is longing for change. She can offer fresh perspective and new vision to change the course of RI. Jenn will represent the best interests of the taxpayers, the business owners as well as represent the traditional values and conservative interests of the people. She will also defend against the unceasing progressive agenda that attacks faith, family, and constitutional rights. Jenn will be the voice for the voters and put forth ways to achieve greater good for the people of this City and State.

Economy
Jenn will help eliminate as many taxes as possible to help the taxpayers keep more of their hard-earned money. Lowering taxes will stimulate economic growth for individuals and businesses. Also, as a small business owner, Jenn knows firsthand the difficulties caused by RI’s tough business climate. Jenn will push for initiatives to make it easier to start and build a business in RI. She will focus on lowering corporate taxes, creating jobs, and eliminating regulations to make RI a top choice for business owners and entrepreneurs.
Education and Parental Rights
Jenn will help parents have a say in their children’s education. Parents are primarily responsible for the upbringing and well-being of their children. This responsibility extends to their children’s education, safety, and well-being while at school. She strongly believes in empowering parents to participate in their children’s education and school policies to help achieve higher academic standards as well as ensure safe and fair school policies.
Energy
Jenn will help consumers and business owners be able to choose the energy they want to use. Jenn will oppose any nonsensical renewable energy mandates placed on consumers when it comes to their homes, businesses, and vehicles. Consumers should have the right to make choices about their own energy consumption based on their preferences, values, and needs.
Housing and Property Rights
Jenn will help lower property taxes and protect property rights and values. She will oppose inefficient government spending to reduce the need for higher property taxes and oppose overreaching laws and regulations that threaten property values and ownership rights.
Law & Order
Jenn will help protect the rights of individuals, including the right to life, property, and personal security. She supports a tough on crime approach to deter potential offenders to ensure that communities are safe and secure.
Government Transparency
Jenn understands transparency’s vital role in fostering trust between the government and its citizens. Rhode Islanders deserve open access to information about how their government operates and makes decisions. If elected, Jenn pledges to advocate for legislation that promotes greater transparency at all levels of government, beginning with the establishment of the Office of the Inspector General. By prioritizing transparency, Jenn aims to empower Rhode Islanders to hold their elected representatives accountable and strengthen the integrity of the state’s institutions.
Right to Bear Arms
As an avid supporter of the Second Amendment, Jenn believes in the right of law-abiding citizens to bear arms for self-defense, recreation, and the protection of their families. Jenn is committed to upholding this constitutional right while also supporting responsible gun ownership.
Social Security Benefits
Rhode Island is one of only 11 states that tax Social Security benefits. Jenn will support legislation to exempt all social security benefits includible in federal adjusted gross income. Eliminating the tax on Social Security benefits at the state level for elderly who worked for decades, paying taxes on their hard-earned income, and contributing to Social Security with post-tax dollars, would revive the retirement income for much of Rhode Island’s elderly population. Jenn strongly believes it is time to provide tax relief to our elderly population by eliminating the income threshold and age requirements, which would apply to those who collect partial benefits at 62 years old as well as those collecting full benefits at 67 years old.
