Cranston, RI — Today, Jenn Caputi, an attorney with a law firm based in Cranston, will launch her campaign for State Senate District 26. Caputi’s decision to run stems from her deep commitment to advocating for the needs of her community and being a voice for working families.
Caputi is deeply invested in addressing pressing issues such as improving Rhode Island’s economic outlook, enhancing educational opportunities for all students, addressing the state’s crumbling infrastructure, advocating for housing and property rights, and promoting government transparency.
“I am absolutely honored to announce my campaign for State Senate District 26,” said Caputi. “I am running to be the voice our community so desperately needs. Our state is facing a pivotal moment, demanding bold leadership to tackle the issues affecting Rhode Islanders every day.
As a small business owner, I understand first-hand the many challenges small businesses face due to our state’s hostile business climate. We must drastically improve our State’s ranking as the worst state to open a business.
Also, we must preserve and protect parental rights from government overreach. We need to empower parents to actively participate in their children’s education, reject extreme curriculums and agendas pushed by special interests that undermine their well-being.
We need someone in the state senate who will take on special interests and fight for the hardworking families across our State.
These problems did not pop up overnight and will take time to resolve with bipartisan cooperation for the greater good. I am committed to representing the constituents in District 26 and promoting policies for the betterment of the State which will ensure a brighter future for our children.”
Caputi will hold a campaign kickoff event tonight at the Thirsty Beaver, 288 Atwood Ave., Cranston, from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM. She invites residents, business owners, and community leaders to join her as she launches her campaign for State Senate District 26.
